(snicker, snicker) I'm finding that I like freezing produce better, and also making steam juice (we've made about 6 qts of wineberry juice.) It makes sense to me to do the actual jam & jelly making in the winter, when heating up the kitchen is a GOOD idea. That was REALLY bad! (snicker, snicker)

Sorry - couldn't resist. I do know what it's like because Mom and Grandma used to put up stuff. Mom stopped for the same reason you did.
