Sorry, mijos, I’m posting this late.
After a quiet day @ the casita, I made up for it by going to:
- Yoga @ Belles Artes (a former convent)
- Lunch w/new chica/amiga Polly, from Orcas (I know, can you believe it?)
- Hanging out @ Centro, reading Atencion & planning next week
- Cine- Food, Inc w/Yoga friends from Ottawa Ty-phoo & Paul from Ottawa
Home again, to eat avocados, queso ranchero & several Cuba libres (doing my share for democracy)
- Sorry, this is the state of my spiritual health @the moment.
- For Vegan-boy
- Another for Vegan-boy- my favorite L33+ H4XR
- Coffee madness
- OK this is too weird
Tomorrow, the plan is to go to Guanajuato. I have my alarm set…
Coffee stencils! A must-have for the newest coffee place in PT (“Better Living Through Coffee”). Why should barristas develop artistic ability when a stencil can do it for them. And now everybody in PT can suggest to everybody else that tonight is the night to do it. Sara, your link for “…too weird” is the same as no. 2, the stencils. Did you like them THAT much? And did Vegan-Boy like them?
Oh, thanks for the catch, Brad. I changed the links. Yeah, the stencil I thought was funniest was “Baby is Coming.” (AKA, let’s cause a scene in the local coffee joint.)
Haven’t heard from vegan boy, but who knows what he’d be up to on a Fri night in Seattle? I’d be sad if he were @ home reading my blog. (Now that would be a mis-spent youth!)
And I LOOOVE Better Living Thru Coffee. Here I thought coffee had been “done.” And they came up w/a whole new concept. I spent several hrs there w/some amigas while I was in PT.
Sara, the last link is great. Where ARE these people? China? “Generator” inside? No way – those things have heating elements inside powered by your USB port. Potential for an electrifying experience – just add water. And did you see this stuff?

Wow, so that’s where I can get a solar cockroach! And if I had enough USB ports, I could get a sheep seat warmer as well & really be cozy!
