Gosh, it’s been a while hasn’t it? I’ve been traveling for a couple wks straight, couch-surfing my way thru the Northwest, catching up w/family & old friends, and having a terrific time. And eating… O lordy. It’s a wonder I don’t weigh 300 lbs.

Son PV & his fiancee live in West Seattle, and I can tell you, that’s some of the best eating around. Buddha Ruksa, the Mission, Spud (best fish n chips anywhere, and I should know), Maharajah, Luna Park Cafe... And then over to the U District to eat @ my favorite: Caspian Grill (I’m claiming to have personally discovered this restaurant. If you go, order the fesenjan- chicken stewed in pomegranate/walnut sauce. You won’t be sorry.)

Now for some fun stuff, to get your weekend started:

Glad you’re there and glad you’re posting again! Okay, Red Green is one of my all-time favorites and I love this one. Chipmunks are okay if you can’t find any less cute, more ratty rodents. The electric composter will put marriage counselors out of business, because the web site shows a guy dumping most of his dinner while his lady smiles sweetly. And yes, you’re south of the border, so always keep some pot simmering… 😎

Hmm… I didn’t catch that about the guy & his dinner. Believe me, I wouldn’t be laughing. And neither would he.

On second look, I believe the greener-than-thou electric composter is large enough to handle part of the husband. Great plot spark for a mystery! Miss Marple goes green! She ultimately proves that the missing husband is pushing up daisies – literally.

That is just evil! (Note to self…)

Yums…Buddha Ruksa’s crispy garlic chicken! OMG!!!

Hola JoAnn! I didn’t try the garlic chicken. Dang, that sounds good. Everything I did try was fantastic; I’ll definitely be going back.
