Such a perverse use of one of the oldest names of the Earth Mother (from Greek, but she likely predated the arrival on Protoeuropeans in Europe). She was the mother of the furrows, the mother of grain, and you can guess how she smelled - earthy, and proud of it!. Even Shiny Suds can't get rid of that essence!
