Sara, we didn't know about the Oak Table Cafe - gotta try it. I like the Old Mill Cafe just ourside Sequim at 721 Carlsborg Road, although the food is more down-homey solid than inspired. It's worth a visit just to check out the decor!

Finally got to look at these! So origami is dead and now the Pacific Rim is into t-shirt folding? How ephemeral! The person who figured out how to put high prices on canvas shoe organizers and grow stuff in them is a brilliant example of American ingenuity. Guess you could cut the legs off your old jeans, line the pockets, and do it more cheaply with that "personal touch." The Guerilla Gardeners could reduce the labor involved in production if they would go find a nice free-range dairy farm and look for the dung beetles doing their thing. Instant little balls of "compost" - just shove in the seeds... And I LOVE the last video. That is the best, most complex Rube Goldberg setup I've ever seen. What fun! And it's a paradigm of Port Townsend city government! Thank you Sara!

Awww, Sara, I loved this! And I loved that you wrote about that special weekend.

Would you be open to my featuring this as a "guest post" on my blog? It's such a perfect "spacious" message for other readers to enjoy.

Hugs, Stephanie

Hi Foley, It was good to see you again, too. I wonder if P & J's wedding was one of the first to be simulcast on twitter?

Yes, the book was great. And a day of hunkering down w/a thriller was just what I needed to recover. I really loved all 3 of the Larsson books.

Hope the grand-dog didn't give you too much trouble or eat your book. If anyone can handle her, it's you ;)

Sara, how nice to have TGIF back! Great fun, and here goes. I am genuinely fascinated with the Hacker's Diet because it addresses problems I myself have or had. Maybe you react as you do because you don't have this massive weight problem. Give the guy a chance - it worked for him. As to the U. Project, are you gonna try it? As to bacon - hog bellies? Thank goodness we eat turkey bacon from the Co-op! My alternative to the Big Bang was developed by the child of a colleague of mine - put one raw egg in microwave. Set on 5 minutes, full power. Stand back. No comment on faerie congresses. I love the catalog. This should be a CC topic. I'd love to hear what some of our CC buddies come up with!

I was behind the camera! There were photos being snapped all over, so there are pix of me somewhere. I wonder if I can buy them off?
